Rev. Prof. Dr. Christian Anieke, Eb. (Mitterkirchen/Austria) is a professor of English. He is the founder and current Vice Chancellor of Godfrey Okoye University (the University of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu). He is the Director of Godfrey Okoye University Group of Institutions, Director of GO Uni Radio 106.9fm and Director of Institute of Chinua Achebe Studies.
Rev. Prof. Dr Christian Anieke is the Rector of Omnium Sanctorum Chaplaincy. He believes in the efficacy of the power of prayer, commitment to God and hard work. He carries out his priestly functions with passion and love of Christ.
His philanthropic gestures are borne out of his appreciation and love for God and human beings. He is an advocate of creating opportunities for others to grow and improve themselves in every way possible.
Professor Anieke is widely travelled. In pursuit of academic excellence he has visited Austria, Germany, South Africa, France, Ghana, United Kingdom, and United States among others. He is proficient in a number of languages including English, German, Igbo, with interest in other local and foreign languages.
His philosophy of life is anchored on excellence and diligence. He is result–oriented. Professor Anieke is an honorary citizen of Mitterkirchen/Austria and a recipient of various local and foreign awards....
